Arte Fiera 2012 - International Galleries
ArteFiera has in recent years become a privileged point of reference for collectors in Italy and a much sought-after showcase for art galleries both at home and abroad. Italians are cautious and respected customers, cultured and well-informed, less easy to convince at first sight but more pragmatic.
For foreign collectors, Belgians, French, English, Germans - as well as Americans, Russians and Chinese - ArteFiera is the only event to provide a full panorama of Italian art from the beginning of the 20th century to the realm of avant-garde, presenting important historical works, as well as young artists to invest in. Precisely the young - whether artists, small-scale collectors or novices – are one of the driving forces behind this event. ArteFiera is inspired by originality, an experience both inside the exhibition areas and in various points around the town, with the First and Off events to understand art as more friendly and captivating. This reflects the strong image Bologna has abroad: a pleasant, open and above all liveable city.
